We collaborate with partner groups to distribute food parcels to those in need. We also enhance a local school nutrition programme by serving local students on a daily basis. We provide fresh fruits and vegetables to seven soup kitchens in our local area.
We work with units involved in addressing Family Violence and Child Protection matters within the Helderberg area. Our efforts include distributing SafeStart essential packs in secure locations, providing support to shelters and centres dedicated to aiding survivors, as well as working with local Neighbourhood Watch Groups.
We are dedicated to building a society where every generation thrives, where the elderly are valued and cherished, and where the youth are empowered to become compassionate, responsible leaders of tomorrow.

As a foundation, we seek to comprehend not just whether our programs are effective, but also the specific ways and conditions through which we can bring about social change across various issues and locations.
We actively question our assumptions by involving diverse viewpoints, promoting cross-program collaboration within the foundation, and seeking insights from external experts, our local community and other stakeholders.
We believe in the power of collective wisdom. Your local insight is invaluable in helping us identify and address the most pressing needs in your community. By sharing your ideas, you contribute to a better future for everyone. Together, let's create positive change. Share your thoughts with us and help us understand how we can best support your community.
We start by examining our society. Asking tough questions and establishing where there are societal inequalities, such as empowering women and girls, violence against women, supporting abandoned babies, as examples, that can be rebalanced by the impact of our Foundation. We have a dual approach to how we learn what making a difference means.
Firstly we look internally and then externally.
Internal Perspective -> learning from each other's experiences and insights, refining strategies and assumptions for a more holistic understanding of social change.
External Perspective -> Actively seeking and collaborating with experts from diverse fields, gaining valuable insights into the realities of different communities and the effectiveness of various social change interventions and finally by engaging with our stakeholders, donors and our communities to ensure that the delivery we promise is received.
By integrating these internal and external perspectives, the foundation gains a comprehensive understanding of the impact of its programs, enabling it to refine its strategies, challenge assumptions, and ultimately achieve greater social change.
Join us in our efforts to make a difference in the world. Whether you volunteer your time, donate funds, or spread awareness about our cause, every little bit helps.
If you are a company who wants to be seen to be making a difference, contact our Outreach team.
If you are a business person with skills you can share, contact us, we would love to hear from you.
If you are a community member, who makes a difference, reach out, we will highlight your efforts.
Together, we can create lasting change and improve the lives of those in need.

Collaborating with a local neighborhood watch group to provide essentials in a gift pack, known as SafeStart, for victims who have fled to safety is a meaningful way to support survivors of gender-based violence. By providing these essential items, we are not only meeting immediate needs but also helping them regain a sense of ownership and stability. Such acts of generosity and support can contribute to their healing and well-being during a challenging time.
To tackle gender-based violence, we need to take several important steps:
1. Raise awareness and educate: Spread knowledge through programs that challenge harmful gender stereotypes, and promote healthy relationships, consent, and gender equality.
2. Empower women: Support initiatives that provide economic opportunities, education, and legal protections, empowering women and reducing their vulnerability to violence.
3. Strengthen the legal framework: Enforce comprehensive laws and policies that criminalize and punish all forms of gender-based violence, such as domestic violence, harassment, and sexual assault.
4. Provide support services: Establish accessible and survivor-centered assistance, including helplines, counseling, shelters, and legal aid, with sufficient funding and availability for all survivors.
5. Engage men and boys: Encourage active participation in challenging harmful social norms, promoting positive masculinity, and advocating for gender equality.
6. Encourage respectful media representation: Urge media organizations to depict women and men in non-stereotypical, respectful ways, avoiding the glamorization or normalization of violence.
7. Change social norms: Engage communities, run advocacy campaigns, and promote gender equality to challenge and transform harmful social norms that perpetuate gender-based violence.
